I too watched the Celtics (but not Lost, gave up on that in season 2). They
appear to have been saving it for the playoffs - 2 wins away from the NBA
finals - sweet!

Lost in the relief of last night's comeback win was the ninth inning error by
Scutaro on a routine ground ball by AROD. This cost the Red Sox a run, and
nearly the game. Scutaro tried to non-chalantly backhand a ball that he could
easily have fronted. Sloppy play, especially in the 9th inning of a game in NY
following a 9th inning collapse on the prior night. I spend 3 days a week
telling my son's little league team to 'get in front of the ball'. There is
just no excuse for not making that play. Scutaro made another costly error in
the 2nd inning when he rushed a potential double play ball, that ultimately
allowed two Yankee runs to score.

I thought this guy could play defense?

Subject: Beckett Protest

So any of you that were watching the game, what was the deal with Beckett? Was
Delcarmen already warming up in the BP
when Farrell went out? Was there any indication from Beckett that he might have
been hurt? If the Yankees protest is held up,
do the Sox lose the game?

And yes, I was watching the Celtics (after Lost was over ;-)...
