I've been so frustrated lately that I took in a Cubbies game last night in Wrigley where Olympic gold winner Lindsey Vohn sang take me out to the ballgame in the 7th inning. I kept seeing the scoreboard updates as the Yanks took a 5 run lead. Glad to see the outcome finished the way it did.

Wrigley is tiny - I've never seen a park with more seats outside the park for viewing then inside...

The game would be restarted from the point when they changed pitchers.

But, this is more for situations like when Tejada didn't touch home plate. If he had been obstructed, and should have been given the run, then the game could have ended very differently.

In this case, it is literally Joe Girardi not understanding the rules.

Steve, don't underestimate Bob Watson's Yankee man-crush.

Not a chance in Hell that the protest will be upheld.

Was Delcarmen already warming up in the BP when Farrell went out? Was there any indication from Beckett that he might have been hurt? If the Yankees protest is held up,
do the Sox lose the game?

And yes, I was watching the Celtics (after Lost was over ;-)...
