Wow. I love it when the stats back up my feelings. Nobody is fooled by this guy anymore. He had a good run, even had his own song, but I think his time is ovah!

Among relievers who have thrown at least 20 innings, Okajima has the fourth-worst WHIP (walks and hits per innings pitched) at 1.97. Lefthanders are hitting .389 against him and the first hitter he faces is at .389. Okajima allows a .378 batting average with runners in scoring position and a .409 average with men on base. In high leverage situations, points where the game is on the line, teams are hitting .404 against him with a combined on-base and slugging percentage of 1.073. In nine appearances since June 22, Okajima has a 10.57 ERA and teams are 21 of 42 against him.
