Don't know if anyone caught this '30 for 30' film on ESPN, about the 2004 ALCS but it was great! Really rekindled a lot of emotions about that series and captured the drama and 'never say die' attitude of that 204 team... The coolest part was Kevin Millar prior to the 4th game, telling everyone, including Dan Shaughnessy (who had called the Sox 'frauds' in a column that day) 'don't let us win, because we have Petey going the next game and Schilling after that, and anything can happen in a game seven'... Sent chills down my spine. And what a wonderful team that was, with only a couple of starts, really, and a bunch of gritty, hard-nosed players. The production was very well done, with Lenny Clarke and Bill Simmons providing commentary interspersed throughout the hour. Some good behind-the-scenes footage taken by some of the players, too.
I DVR'd it and plan to watch itagain just before the 2011 season begins, to get pumped up!
