I recorded it on DVR (as I do for all of the 30 for 30 series) and watched it last night. It was great. It really brought back the memories of that series and how it took over our lives that October. I don't think there will ever be another season like that one. Some of the behind the scenes footage that Dan refers to was taken by the players themselves in the clubhouse. Really good stuff.

Really rekindled a lot of emotions about that series and captured the drama and 'never say die' attitude of that 204 team... The coolest part was Kevin Millar prior to the 4th game, telling everyone, including Dan Shaughnessy (who had called the Sox 'frauds' in a column that day) 'don't let us win, because we have Petey going the next game and Schilling after that, and anything can happen in a game seven'... Sent chills down my spine. And what a wonderful team that was, with only a couple of starts, really, and a bunch of gritty, hard-nosed players. The production was very well done, with Lenny Clarke and Bill Simmons providing commentary interspersed throughout the hour. Some good behind-the-scenes footage taken by some of the players, too. I DVR'd it and plan to watch it again just before the 2011 season begins, to get pumped up!
