But Crawford doesn't play center. He's a left fielder whose biggest asset is

speed, so Fenway limits his defensive value somewhat. 


I certainly wouldn't turn down Crawford, but he doesn't really fit. Another 
lefthanded hitter and his price is going to be ridiculous, thanks to Jayson 
Werth. I don't want to give any OF an 8-year contract ...

I don't mind throwing Ryan Kalish out there in left. I think he's going to be 
Trot Nixon with a little speed.
