It seems like every media outlet has run a "the details behind the Crawford
deal" article. As interesting as they are, they're a but duplicative.

Makes me wonder though are these articles the result of a Red Sox campaign
to prove they weren't reacting to fan outrage?

Or are the Sox simply a little more comfortable opening the kimono on this
one because it worked out.

Probably a bit of both, but this coverage stands out because the Sox are so
typically tight lipped about their methods. Not as bad as the Pats, but not
good.
