Lester is opening day starter. Guess that one bad inning sunk Beckett! ;-)

I look forward to every season, so it's hard to say that I look forward to this
season more than I have any other. But I
think the Sox have a chance - with good health - to do some serious damage this
year. Granted, the Orioles have gotten better
but I think Tampa Bay and Toronto have both regressed. Interested to see how
the
Yankees pitching holds up. I'm not impressed
with their rotation, past Sabathia. I think Hughes and Burnett will be
inconsistent again this year, and with Bartolo Colon and

Freddy Garcia vying for rotation spots, well.... Offensively, can Cano repeat
his season? Can Jeter fix his stride? Can A-Rod

stop eating popcorn?

The division is ours for the taking.

Is there nothing else to talk about regarding the Sox. I think it was an
inning
of “early” March Spring Training that set off this thread.

I’m looking forward to seeing him try to regain his former self. Yes, his
former self. His numbers just one year before last year, the year in which he
pitched though he was hurt and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong and his
ERA exploded.
