My lists of worst ever would be some reordered combination of Tom and Steve's list, thought 2011 can't make my list.
Some specific bad memories: * Taking my sister-in-law (who was 15 at the time) to a Blue Jays game. We were up 10-0 in the 7th inning and switched seats to sit down front for the end. We lost. * The Tim Tschida game. I could see from the bleachers that he missed the tag on Offerman. To paraphrase Chris Rock, "They were wrong to throw crap on the field, but I understood them." * Having Dave Parker beat the shit out of us one Patriot's Day when Mike Boddicker was pitching. * Freezing my ass off at a 36-degree Yankees Night game a couple of years ago. I can't even tell you who won...sooo cold! And my worse memory * Going to my first playoff game against the A's with Chuck and getting absolutely crushed. I missed Wade Boggs's home run because I was getting a beer. We were literally under the scoreboard in Center Field. Chuck said that Boggs's home run landed in the net over the monster but never elevated above his eye level. On Fri, Sep 30, 2011 at 11:19 AM, Tom Salemi <[email protected]> wrote: > Good list.
