Yeah, I just bought 2 of the 200 gallon Instant ocean mixes within the last
2 months and they both had the same problem ( a heavy layer of precipitate on
the bottom-- almost an 1/8 inch thick). I use well water that is very pure
as far as I know. I even called Aquarium Systems and they said it must be
the sodium bicarb (buffer). But I think that it must be some undissolvable
impurities. I'd love to hear others comments on this.
