I have been dosing kalkwasser for the past 5 days and have not added any
other additives except Thiels KH.
I must say, the skimmer does seem to be working better now. I do have small
bubbles in the column, and it doesn't overflow like it was previously. I
think you were correct--that I was adding too much stuff, and it was
affecting the skimmer's performance.
I'm going to do a water change this weekend, and then continue dosing the
kalkwasser into the next week with the KH additions, and see how things go.
