Doug,
I generally dose 1 gallon of kalkwasser every night. I use C-Balance every
few days, and occassionally use ReefPlus and/or Reef Complete.
I have alot of additives (Seachem & Thiel). I've been mixing and matching
them as I see fit. I was attempting to use only Thiel products for some
time (KSM, VG, Iodine and KH), however, they were not producing desireable
results. So, I went back to what was previously on my shelf: Seachem
stuff.
The only thing the VG and KSM seemed to do is produce algae and make my
corals close. I don't understand it. Everyone else seems to have terrific
results, but my tank does not reflect it.
I was planning on doing a few large water changes to hopefully "clean" out
my system, and then start over with a new additive regimine. Any comments
or criticisms welcome.
