I use mag pumps on my tank and love them. No problems at all and you can
use them in line or submerged. I use a mag 7 as a return on my 125 and a
mag 3 attached to a sprinkler head in the tank to create movement. I think
tomorrow that am going to buy a mag 9 for a return and switch the 7 to my
skimmer. As a side note, does anyone think that using the mag 7 on a 6
foot high 4 inch diameter skimmer would be too much? I am currently using a
rio 2500 to run the skimmer. It does run through a chiller before it gets
to the skimmer.
