Michael,

I have a 65G and a 90G that I have has in service for 20+ years.
I won't even consider re-siliconing one if it started to leak. (I'd go
out and replace it with a drilled tank, and sell the leaker to someone
who keeps reptiles and the CPR overflow to a reefer who wasn't
sharp enough to buy a drilled tank to begin with.)

Note that silicone won't stick to silicone. You'll need to completely
disassemble the tank and physically remove ALL the silicone. Single
edge razor blades will help. Depending on what your time is worth
to you, it is probably cheaper to just buy a new tank.

Regards,
Bob D.
