I wouldn't  unless it's leaking.if you decide you must do it remove only
bead inside glass.Apply new bead of aquarium sealant,not silicone.practice
on something else with inside corners before doing tank to get the feel of
using it to make a nice looking bead.it's really sticky, stringy stuff to
work with.
