That is interesting. Is there a website which has plans on building a light
frame with PVC?
TIA

This doesnt help with the stand issue much. But myself as being
helpless with
wood tools and whatnot. And all the shop teachers at school didnt
understand
the fact that people use wood for hoods all the time. I took the
advice of
john <aka candybass>. I used 3/4 inch pvc and 1/2 inch pvc and made
a frame
to hold my lights. A little velcro and some black canvas cloth, It
doesnt
look all that bad. Its light weight adjustable. and no chance in
hell of
rotting. I guess I could go far enough to face it with some thin
marine
plywood for a more funiture quality look. I do prefer the look of a
nice wood
canopy and stand but I was tired of having my new lights sittin here
in the
box.
