hey,i personaly have had a spectapure ro-di unit for over 5 years and i'm
very happy with it. one thing i have learned about changing the filters is to
watch the pressure gauge, when it drops down 10 lbs or more it is time to
replace the filters or at least change your sediment filter. the instructions
that come with the unit will give you an average on how long the filters
should last. a lot of it depends on the quality of your tap water and the
condition of the pipes in your home. i have a older home and there is alot of
sediment in the older pipes so i have to change the sediment filter about
every 2-4 weeks. i hope this helps you
