Personally, I think its highly unlikely that you will have much success with
such a small water capacity. I have only just started to have some success
having increased from a 30g to 60g reef that has been running for about 18
months from the start of the 30g. Plate coral wouldn't fair any better.

Keeping a fire clown with a host anenome was the sole reason I started the
tank in the first place. I seem to be fortunate enough to have succeeded -
more luck than ability, I wish someone had told me that my 30g tank was too
much of an unstable environment for these fascinating creatures.

The saddest thing I've ever seen in my tank was my clown fish trying to
stimulate life into a dyeing anenome.
