I notice you said you run one of Ron's skimmers on your 29 gallon tank. Well
let me give you some advise. Don't run it 24/7. I have one of the 3 inch
models on my 30 gallon. And since i started running it the growth of my
corals has all but stopped. I am currently starting to phase it out to only
running it a few hours a week. His skimmer is awesome i dont knock its
ability at all. I just feel that with such a small volume of water your
really are overskimming and either removing trace elements such as iodine, or
the water is just TOO clean.
