Hi,
If anyone in the Vancouver, BC, Canada area is interested, I was just at
one of my local fish stores and I found 3 Maldive (A. nigripes) Clownfish.
The fish have the same markings as the photo of A. nigripes on page 93 of
Fautin's book but the body color was a lot darker (the orange is not as
bright) like the top photo of A. omanensis on pg.97.
The fish are about 2.5-3 inches long but only one of the fish looks healthy
(two have caved in stomachs). I know that these fish don't ship well from
the wild so these may be a lost cause (I'd try but I have no spare tanks
set up). If anyone is interested contact me off list & I'll tell you were
to get them.
