Just wondering if anyone that owns a Turbofloter 1000 has replaced the Rio
2100 (692 gph) pump with a Sendra pump that has the Euro-reef impeller?
The CS6-1/2/3 and the G2/3 use the Sendra 3500/5000 (350gph/500gph).
Do you think that by using the sendra pumps (and euro-reef impeller) the
efficency of the Turbo would be increased? On the negative the turbo has a
thinner diameter raiser tube but the pump impeller combination would be
better than the rio. I remember M3 used to sell a turbo with an ehiem that
cost almost twice as much at the time (also claimed better preformance).
Comparision Chart:
Turbofloter 22 4.5 1 X rio 2100 25-250
CS6-1 20 6 1 X sendra 3500 up to 200
CS6-2 24 6 1 X sendra 5000 up to 250
CS6-3 30 6 1 X sendra 5000 up to 300
