Shane:
Thanks for your advice, I dont know where but Ive heard that before and
never take it to practice, but Ill probably will since theres nothing to
loose. But the problem is I cant introduce any brush to clean it since the
intake and outake has a 90 turn.
Maybe i will put pure vinegar and shake it so all the deposits fall off.
Thanks!!!
Marco

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, and Marco, dont do this until
someone else confirms that it can be done, but I do believe you can run
vinegar through it to clean the calcium (which is the white coating you
have) off. Is what I would do if this WONT damage the UV is set up a
seperate container, even maybe a 5 gallon bucket with a seperate pump and
use that container to and pump to run your UV. Fill the bucket with clean
freshwater (no salt) and probably a quart or two of white distilled vinegar
and let it run for a day or two. The acidic nature of the vinegar will
dissolve the calcium. It may not totally remove it, but should loosen it
significantly so that maybe you can reach a small brush in their to clean it
off.
Just a suggestion....
