I have mine feeding of my main return line. I tapped into my main return
line with a smaller line, it then runs through my UV unit then from there
into the main tank. Although i am sure feeding it back down into the sump
would work just as fine also.

IMO, anwhere in the system will work. I suppose you are going to have a
greater population of parasites in the display tank, where all the fishes
are, but if you have a sump, it may be easiest, and almost as effective to
hook it up there. Anyone that uses one of these have any specific
