First some questions;
Have you tested phosphate & nitrate, if so how high?
Do you use filtered water for top-off & water changes?
How long is your lighting period?
Phosphate media can help keep levels low but if your level is high to start with, phosphate sponges & filter pads work faster.
If you don't use filtered water, you may be adding more than you can filter out.
Nitrates & long lighting periods also promote algae.
More info can help us help you.

Subject: Hair algae !
I believe the explosion of hair algae in my tank is supposted to be
controlled by Phosguard, correct? I've been trying it but quite frankly,
it's not doing too much over the past few months.
What's a natural predator to it?
