Probably for any animals that dont need extremely intense lighting.
Basically, the majority of corals. Clams and light loving SPS are the only
animals that actually DO need this type of lighting. LPS, leathers, and a
lot of SPS dont need, or even like this much lighting. It is not the
hardware that is the issue, it is the intensity of the lighting produces by
MHs, especially a 400 watter that is not suited for all uses.
