I would recommend a maxima from hagen, but they soon lowers their efficiency because the wooden air difusers get clogged as they work, making it harder to pump air and burning the diafragm.

Can anybody can recommend me a strong enough and cheap air pump for a CC skimmer? I will make it and I am thinkind on a 5'-6' tall skimmer.
