I believe the analysis of the miracle mud  showed it to be mostly dirt, high in iron content.  It is a topic of debate on the filtering qualities of the mud, however I do not beleive it is worth $5 a lb.  If I want dirt I just have to go down to the creek.  I think a better product in the refugium would be the wild mangrove mud from either tampa bay saltwater or gulf view(cant remember which one) ----- Original Message ----- From: John Philip Sousa To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, October 08, 2001 7:22 PM Subject: Refugium setup What is the best setup for a refugium and is it worth it?
