Thats probably ick, I dont think that can be sand or something else.
Better start adding more c vitamin to help him get over the ick.
I have a regal tang and sometimes 3 or 4 white spots apear on him, thats
ick but not a severe case so I just add more C vitamin and he recovers all
by himself.
Just take an eye on what youre feeding, dont introduce your hands to the
tank since that stresses them a lot.
If you take him out for fresh water dips or put him in a qt tank he will
just be more stresses and probably the problem will get bigger.
Just add more c vitamin and let mother nature do his job.

Subject: ICH or not????

I was hoping someone could help me, there are some white things on my
clowns
and Im not to sure its ich, because I have seen ich before and it gets all
over the fish, but on this fish it has about 4 white things on only one of
its sides, and I am getting kind of worried...do you think it is ich? My
thoughts are maybe ich OR since the fish is in a reef situtation, and when
they swim around the rocks and corals some things get stuck to them, do you
think it might just be some things pick up from swimming around my rocks?
Man, I hope its not ich....but please let me know what you think and what
should I do? thanks, Joe
