Hey Ben. A couple of mag 9s should easily do the trick. I use a mag 24 like
you are talking about. The problem I have had is that I only have one output
for it, so I have to REALLY restrict its output. That is where the problem
comes in. I went through 2 impellers in about a month and a half. Now, I am
not sure exactly why, but I think it is because of the restriction of output
on the pump. I think if you have enough outputs, and dont restrict the
output that the mags should work well for you. Maybe try setting one up and
use it for a while and see what happens with it.

Also as far as number of outputs, you could run 4, but make sure and put
ball valves on each one. That will allow you to control the amount of water
coming from each one, and will give you more flexibility in the system. With
ball valves on each one, you should be able to run 4 quite easily.

I have seen the power strip wavemakers in action. They seem to work well for
the money you pay for them, although you cant go wrong with the Tsunami wave
maker. Those have a feed mode, night mode and you can set the amount of time
that each pump comes on and off. A lot more flexibilty again....

IMO
