Hey All,
I hope you are all home safe and dry. :-) Or at least having too much fun
on 4th Street.

For a recent speech that I gave, I borrowed a friend's Sony AVCHD HDR-TG1 to
tape the talk. The tape worked fine. Because my friend lost his cable, I
used a card reader to get the files onto my Mac. I have also upgraded to
iMovie '08.

For whatever reason, I am not able to open up the files nor do anything with
them. I have googled this a bunch, and read a bunch of boards. There seems
to be a lot of activity concerning this back in 2007, but nothing recent....
all of the boards say that iMovie '08 handles the AVCHD files... but I am
unable to do anything with the files at all.

Any ideas? I would really like to cut the video down a bit, and post it on
YouTube or something of the like.

Thanks,
Kevin
