Thanks to Jon Loyens, a member of Refresh who's presented in the past, we have a lawyer with experience working representing local Web/tech startups who's going to present at an upcoming meeting. Jon has worked with Brian Spross closely during his time with Thinktiv as they were working through equity and ownership issues and recommends him highly.
So, my question to the group - would you prefer that Brian follow our normal format, presenting around things like ownership of IP, basics on entities, hiring people and the like, or would you prefer that we spend the time in a Q&A format, where you could ask questions of him directly? If the latter, we'll likely take some questions in advance and aim to keep those asked during the meeting general so they apply to as many of us as possible. If you prefer a formal presentation, what topics would you find most interesting?
