There are usually informal meetups during SXSW. In years past Barcamp was
held during SXSWi. In the evenings, if you're following various people
you'll find where quick meetups at various bars are going on. I've had a
blast at the Marriott bar talking & visiting with many people from out of
town.

The Refresh World meetup at BD Riley's on Friday is a great time & I'd also
pay attention to Conjunctured, Texas Coworking, & other groups to see what
might be going on that's open to non-badge holders.
