This whole discussion should go off-list, but I don't believe it is just money that has curtailed the Trail of Lights. If support for it was so overwhelming, it would have been continued despite the cost, since it's cost is a drop in the bucket in this city's multi-billion $ budget. The city has just approved over $1 Billion, with a B, for a water plant we don't even need, and they can't find 750K? Doesn't add up.
