Hey everyone,

I'm attempting to setup and configure a Windows Server network of 2-3
client machines with a Windows Server 2008 r2 box that will run a
server hosted billing application. I've had no end of troubles
configuring Active Directory and Active Directory Domain Controller so
I can get the machines talking to each other... been through several
sites, blogs, vids, forums... nothing makes any of this easier. Hoping
someone on here has some time and some insight to help me get this
thing up and running and out of my hair :P

So far the roles I have installed are:
Active Directory
(AD) DNS Server
File Services

And I've setup and configured the Users, Groups and Computers on the
server that would be connecting to the network. Only when I go to the
client machine to setup the Domain membership it says it can't find
the domain... Makes me think it's still an IP issue with my IPV4
configs..

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
- Brandltey
