So last night far surpassed all of our expectations in regards to turnout and donations raised. Hopefully you joined us and enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate the amazing community that we have here in Austin. While we've mentioned a lot of this on Twitter already, I want to to share some numbers from event:
512 people joined us for the evening 549 lbs of canned food were brought to the party $349 was raised in cash donations at the door $600 in donations were made to the Capital Area Food Bank by the sponsors on behalf of the Web Bash 5,184 total meals will be made from all of these contributions Thanks to the members of Refresh Austin, 18 other Web groups and the community as a whole, we had a lot of fun and did some good at the same time.
