PTP is a capacity building and technology services organization with deep roots in organized communities of color and low income communities across the United States. The first Austin CiviCRM Meetup is scheduled for Thursday, March 8, 2012, 6:30pm - 8:30pm Location: The Texas Observer office 307 W 7th Street Austin, TX 78701 This gathering will have presentations from the Texas Observer and the Progressive Technology Project on how their organizations are using CiviCRM. We will also take a look at the latest version of CiviCRM and talk about the new features. CiviCRM is a free, libre and open source software constituent relationship management solution. CiviCRM is web-based, internationalized, and designed specifically to meet the needs of advocacy, non-profit and non-governmental groups. Integration with both Drupal and Joomla! content management systems gives you the tools to connect, communicate and activate your supporters and constituents.
