Progressive Technology Project"

PTP is a capacity building and technology services organization with
deep roots in organized communities of color and low income
communities across the United States.

The first Austin CiviCRM Meetup is scheduled for Thursday, March 8,
2012, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Location:

The Texas Observer office
307 W 7th Street
Austin, TX 78701

This gathering will have presentations from the Texas Observer and the
Progressive Technology Project on how their organizations are using
CiviCRM. We will also take a look at the latest version of CiviCRM and
talk about the new features.

CiviCRM is a free, libre and open source software constituent
relationship management solution. CiviCRM is web-based,
internationalized, and designed specifically to meet the needs of
advocacy, non-profit and non-governmental groups. Integration with
both Drupal and Joomla! content management systems gives you the tools
to connect, communicate and activate your supporters and constituents.

This is the a user group aimed at bringing together CiviCRM users,
administrators, developers and those aspiring to be any of the above
to:

1) Learn more about the CRM system through peer knowledge sharing and
training sessions

2) Discuss how organizations are using it to address their CRM needs

3) Demonstrate custom modules, user interfaces and configurations

4) Discuss future development of the system

Please pass this along to others that you think would be interested.
