Hi all, Sorry for the delay in following up on this. I ended up calling a couple hospitals in the area and talking with the financial departments. Turns out, the big three appear to be United Health, Blue Cross, and Cigna.
Given the prices and some of the emails, I opted for Blue Cross. A note for anyone who may end up in my situation: BCBS took 3 weeks to process my application and actually get me covered. If you're just getting Texas insurance, don't wait!
