The main of this project is to provide a way to change the background of your
operating with an image randomly choosen on Internet.
There are two sort of script :
- the server written on PHP witch choose an picture on iternet and redirect
the client on it.
- the clients, at this time there is only one written in python but I plan to
write one for windows, witch periodicly ask the server a picture with some
parameters.
The server use mostly the function file-get-contents
(http://fr3.php.net/manual/en/function.file-get-contents.php) with URL so the
fopen wrappers must be enabled on PHP. It don't copy the picture and send it
to the client but redirect (with header(Location:...);) it to the picture on
the wallpaper site. In the futur it will use 'plugins' to allow more wp
sites.
the only client work for Gnome and use magic.py (Copyright 2001 Janko Hauser
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and Copyright 2001-2006 Fernando Perez
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> under the BSD License)
