The idea is to create libraries for the 2d/3d simulation of hard shaped
objects. The immediate target is to develop libraries that calculate
distance/ detect overlap aong simple shaped objects. The target users are
researchers and students in computational courses. Few more informations (and

at the moment, plplot libraries (http://plplot.sourceforge.net/) are used for
2d visualisation and debugging; however, they are considered asan useful extra
and by no way as a necessary part of the project
