UI should update media-type when a remote resource is selected

When you enter the URL of a remote resource to import, the media-type field
stays blank. It would be nice if we had some JavaScript to do a HEAD on the
specified resource as soon as you finished typing it and the focus left that
control, and then put the Content-type we read from the URL into the media-type
field as a default. We could then also indicate (turn the control red or
something) if the resource was inaccessible. (Of course, to do that really
right you'd need to let the server, not the client, do the work, since it's the
one that's going to import the content....)
