How to recreate:
1. login as admin.
2. add few comments to root level (refer to attached image1)
3. subscribe to comment feed. (refer to attached image2_atom)
4. check for comments after subscription (refer to attached image3_atom)
you will notice that all the existing comments are not displaying in
imag3_atom.
