@Irihapeti # 24 That's exacly what I did. The kernel r8169 driver seldomly worked *at all* so I compiled the driver from source. I had to donwload the latest sources from realtek because the source code included with the card didn't compile on lucid.
I got the card to work, but only at speed 100.
