avdheiden - I'm thinking you likely have a different bug then Irihapeti since the pre-proposed kernel did solve his problem, and he was the original reporter. I suggest you file a new bug with your relevant information using 'ubuntu-bug linux', though you'll have to do it using a different ethernet interface.
