I also confirm that on my Dell E4310 the patched module proposed by
bagl0312 in #203 does not chenge anything. The pointing device is still
not recognised properly.

xinput -list
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ PS/2 Generic Mouse id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Sleep Button id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=10 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Dell WMI hotkeys id=12 [slave keyboard (3)]

It works with the basic functionalities but I cannot set scrolling nor
change its sensitivity. Actually until the bug is fixed what I would
like to do is to switch the touchpad off and leave only the pointer in
the middle of the keyboard. Any suggestion on how this can be made? The
GPointing device setting windows shows me just one mouse (PS2).

Thanks

Luca
