Yes, there was, and is.  You were (correct me if I'm wrong) making the illogical assumption that those on this list discussing Howard's racism have never felt it's sting  because they are not minority members.  You go on to compound this in your first reply, where you tried to mistakenly imply that I consider rudeness racism.  I don't.  You also state that members of minorities deal with racism all their lives.  They don't.  To state that all whites have never been victims of racism, while all blacks have...is illogical.
You can do all the gymnastics you want, but you're wrong on this one.  And you need to go read Thomas Sowell, Dinesh D'sousa, and Stephen and Abigail Thernstrom among others, to find out why.
