Well, I've been close.  I've always said Koe-nan, accent on the first
syllable.  I do like Koe n'n and am glad I was a little close.  I'd have
hated to have to start making him sound like Sean Connery or Arthur Conan
Doyle.
    I do seem to remember D'onofrio as Howard, pronouncing it Koe n'n in the
movie.
    BTW, I haven't been receiving mail from this list for ages.  Glad to see
it started up again, and with such interesting posts.
