I had a quick look at the ISO date format. It is quite complex. Does remind need a regex that will cover all flavours of ISO dates or just the obvious one of YYYY-MM-DD ?
Speaking only for myself, I would expect the simple method of making both date formats highlight all the time, and I would think the obvious date format is what is really wanted, with the rest of the ISO standard being very much optional for this purpose.
