Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop firmware for disk array products
* Development efforts would be focus on storage adapters, volume
configuration and RAID controller areas.
* Candidate must be able to take design decisions and be able to
lead teams technically.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in design/development of
firmware/software products
* Ideal candidate would have worked on development of embedded
systems
* Should have been involved in designing products
* Very strong C or C++ programming experience.
* Storage experience would be desired for candidates applying for
this position, preferably in iSCSI, virtualization, SAS, volume manager
areas.
* Well versant with programming in unix environment with a very
good knowledge of UNIX development tools
* Good knowledge of debuggers.
* Knowledge of Storage subsystems, RAID, SAN, Fibre Channel, SATA,
infiniBand and SCSI would be highly desirable.
* Knowledge of UML/OO concepts would be a definitive plus.
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
or equivalent. C, C++ programming language courses

products.
· Record of demonstrated ability in development of embedded
systems.
· Good experience in C/C++ in an embedded/system programming
environment is mandatory
· Desired practioner in some or all of the following is a
plus: Storage subsystems, RAID, SAN, Fibre Channel, SATA, infiniBand
and SCSI.
· Good UML/OO concepts would be highly desirable
Education:
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
or equivalent. C, C++ programming language courses
