*JOB DESCRIPTION*

*GENERAL SUMMARY:*
The Oracle E-Business 11i Financials Technical/Functional Specialist is
responsible for the performance, functionality and reliability of the Oracle
Financials Applications, specifically: Financials Foundation, General
Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing,
Oracle Projects, iRecievables and Support.  Assists in ensuring 24x7
application software availability in support of mission critical business
requirements.  This position will function as both production and
development support for implementation projects. Works with the management
team to establish strategies and priorities for the overall enterprise by
analyzing and understanding the current and future applications needs in
order to formulate and recommend technology plans to keep pace with the
business demands.


*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Support and maintain Oracle E-business11i Financials applications
Troubleshoot and resolve applications functional and technical issues.
Develop ad hoc reports and queries using TOAD or SQL plus
Develop/troubleshoot Applications program modules.
Ensure service level availability of the Oracle applications
Design, Develop, Test and implement application extensions and enhancements.

Develop, document and enforce application standards and procedures
Work with process owners and identify information technology solutions that
enable business process improvements
Work with cross project teams to resolve technical performance
issues/bottlenecks (e.g., network, storage, application)
Serve as trusted advisor and Subject Matter expert to the business regarding
how the system can be used to support desired business processes and
requirements
Provide on-call support and break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve
application issues


*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:*
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Significant Experience with System Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design
and Development. Guide users in formulating requirements, advice on
alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.

Ability to understand business processes, gather requirements and prepare
design specifications.
Previous experience implementing or supporting Oracle E-Business Suite 11i
Financials applications.
Experience with Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts
Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Oracle Projects and Oracle TCA Customer
Model.
Experience with FSG reporting and Month End Close processes.
Experience with self service applications   iRecievables, iPayments and
iProcurement.
Proficient  in Financials Technical foundation and table structures
Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning and using TOAD
Experience with Oracle Applications Technology foundation, Oracle Forms 6i,
report 6i, Workflow 2.6, XML Publisher, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Database
9i, SQL loader.
Experience with Application Object Library (AOL), Concurrent Manager and
Flexfields.
Experience with designing and developing  CEMLIs
(Configuration/Customization, Extension, Modification, Localization and
Integration)
Experience with OA Framework, 11i Forms Personalization, Oracle JDeveloper,
and Self Service web forms.
Experience with Software development life cycle.
Experience working with Financials modules conversions and interfaces
programs.
Experience with Database concepts, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, FTP process,
HTML, JavaScript, JSP and XML.
Working knowledge of Oracle  Applications API's
Knowledge of Oracle Receivables and interfaces from Financials modules
Experience with an organization with a key 24 X 7 reliance on its
applications.
Flexible, self-directed and motivated individual, able to accommodate to
shifting priorities.
Excellent communication/customer service skills. Ability to understand
others and clearly express thoughts.
Self-starter, who can work independently, follow through and complete tasks
with a minimum of oversight
Ability to provide on-call support
Knowledge of other Oracle E-Business Suite CRM modules will be a plus.
Ability and interest to learn and develop on newer technology tools and
skills.


*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*
Education and experience equivalent to:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer
science, information systems, or a business related field with 5 - 8 years
experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Proven track record in configuring, implementing and supporting Oracle
applications E-business suite11i.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires completion of most work functions in a general office
environment. There are requirements to travel on an as needed basis for
accomplishment of the defined project objectives and activities. Some work
and meetings may require some evening and weekend participation
