Duration: *9 months w/ extension* Location: *Greater Seattle, WA* Rate: * OPEN* Exp: 8+ yrs Client: *Financially stable/ well-established technology company (DIRECT/repeat client)*** Seeking a person who is experienced in JSP, Struts, Java script, Java. This person will be primarily doing *UI development* in our application. *Qualifications:* Technical competencies required *MS-Windows, Struts 1.2, Java 1.4, JSP, JSTL, Hibernate 3.0, Eclipse 3.1, Weblogic 8.1, and Oracle*. Must be a UI Developer (front-end) for recent positions – *not someone that has done some UI development*. *Need to be hard-core UI developers.* Understand and analyze the UI requirements. Prepare the detailed plan for the development of the UI requirements Responsible for interacting with different modules and prepare a comprehensive high level design and low level design for the UI requirements Planning and conducting design reviews. Responsible for construction of the struts components for the UI Requirements and integrating the same with all other modules in the application Code walkthrough and functionality acceptance Prepare Test Plan Specifications, conduct Unit Testing and regression testing Analyze the defects in each phase and bring in solutions to prevent defects in the future phases. *Responsibilities:* Responsible for providing technical system solutions and determining overall design direction. Provide technical leadership and are responsible for the technical integrity within a subsystem or application. Also provide technical expertise to generate maintainable, quality solutions. Includes documenting system requirements, creating application designs, validating high level designs to ensure accuracy and completeness against the business requirements and programming the solutions. Attend project meetings when technical advice is needed and communicate the project design to other architects. May resolve design issues and develop strategies to make ongoing improvements that support system flexibility and performance. Assess the technical feasibility of new technologies to enable integration into existing processes.
